concern, and our number one focus. Here are common questions asked by our customers regarding
the safety of your items.
- How can I be sure my watch(es) will be safe?
- We have taken every possible measure to ensure that your watch(es) are completely insured and protected while we are in possession of them. We take extra steps like video taping the opening of the package so that we can stand accountable for all items in our inventory.
- Will my watches be insured?
- Not only will your watch be insured for full replacement value while being shipped to us, we carry an additional level of insurance on site that will more than adequately cover any watches in our possession.
- Who do you use for shipping?
- Our main shipping relationship stands with Federal Express (FedEx). We have had an excellent experience since partnering with them and they are sensitive to the needs of our customers.
- Who is responsible for my watches while they are in your hands?
- While we have your watch in our possession, we are fully responsible for the entire replacement value of the items. Between our secure facility, insurance, and safe systems - your watch(es) are safe with us and we are happy to stand fully behind that claim.
- Why do I have to send my watch(es) to you?
- At the end of the day, watches are complicated items that can vary in price with just the slightest change in the make. These tiny details can have drastic impacts on the pricing of the watch. For this reason - to attain the highest price for your watch - we do the heavy lifting for you and properly shop the accurate watch to our buyers networks.
Watch Values & Payments
Second to security - it all comes down to money. We are here to help you sell your watch for the highest amount possible. Here are a few questions that have been asked by previous clients that will help.
- What type of watches do you look for?
- We are luxury watch brokers. There are over 100 brands of luxury watches that we work with. To see if your watch qualifies for our brokerage please contact one of our representatives using the telephone number above. As a rule of thumb, we generally prefer watches with a current value over $1000, however exceptions are always made and your best course of action is to speak with one of our representatives.
- How much is my watch worth?
- Our goal is to sell your watch for the highest possible value that the current market is buying for. We are able to do this by offering your watch to our networks of thousands of buyers. Instead of only shopping your watch to your local jewelry store or pawn shop, we are able to place your watch(es) in front of thousands of store owners, watch brokers and watch collectors.
- What payment methods can I used to be paid?
- We offer the following methods of payment once your watch has been successfully brokered: Check, PayPal, and Wire Transfer*.
- What happens if you cannot sell my watch?
- While this does not happen often, it is still an important point to touch on. If we are unable to present an offer on your watch(es), your watch will be returned to you in the same condition as your sent it to us.
Our Brokerage Process
We have a very detailed oriented process that each watch we receive goes through. In this process we verify the integrity and properly document all aspects of your watches. Here are a few questions that we have received in the past regarding this process.
- What type of cleaning do you?
- It is important to know that a cleaning should not be confused with a servicing. Our cleaning process includes removing any debris from within the seams of the watch to a light, non abrasive polishing. Our goal is to not modify the current nature of the watch, but present the item in the best condition possible.
- What type of information are you looking for?
- In our detailed condition report we strive to achieve a complete and detailed document of your watch. This includes all metals used in the watch, the current state of all components of the watch, as well as important details such as the caliber movement inside the watch. These are all details that are required to properly market your watch to our networks.
- Why is this important?
- Without this information buyers cannot be fully aware of what they are purchasing and often times can end in a unsavory business relationship. Many of our clients have attempted to sell their timepieces on their own and encountered these extreme questions that require technical expertise on the watch. We remove the need for you, as our client, from dealing with this situation.
